Welcome to the Detroit Housing Commission’s (“DHC”) website! This website includes information about our many housing programs and affordable housing developments, services to our customers and contact information. We provide quality affordable housing in a safe living environment for low and moderate- income persons throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area. As the largest public housing agency in Michigan, we continue to be a catalyst for change.   We are pleased with the transformation DHC has made over the last two years. We have modernized our public housing stock, developed state of the art affordable housing in mixed-income communities and streamlined internal processes to ensure excellent customer service.  In addition, we work to enhance the quality of life of the people we serve by offering our customers opportunities to participate in a multitude of community, educational, recreational, homeownership and training programs. Please check our website regularly for updates to programs, events and what’s happening at DHC.
