Accessibility Menu (CTRL+U) available on our website does not support text reader functionality on PDF files.  Please follow the instructions below how you can use screen/text reader on different browsers.

Microsoft Edge

If you are using Microsoft Edge, you can use Microsoft Read aloud built-in extension. It reads PDF files and web pages out loud to you. It is possible to customize the speed and voice for Read Aloud extension.

Click on Read aloud icon or press (CTRL+SHIFT+G) key in the PDF viewer and it will start reading the PDF file you open on our website.

Google Chrome

Google Chrome PDF Viewer does not have built-in screen reader. You will need to install ChromeVox extension on your Chrome browser. ChromeVox is an extension for Google Chrome browser on Windows and Mac OS X which operates as an alternative screen reader for Web content.

ChromeVox speaks the content of the page, plays audio indicators for page load progress and objects on the page, and provides a way to navigate all web content from the keyboard. You can install ChromeVox from the Chrome Web Store.

Once you've reached the ChromeVox page in the Chrome web store, select the "Add to Chrome" button. In the new dialog, select the "Install" button to download and install ChromeVox in the background. Once complete, you will hear a chime and ChromeVox will open a new tab with the latest Release Notes.

ChromeVox automatically starts reading a PDF file or a web page in Chrome.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

If for any reason screen readers on these browsers are not working on the PDF files, you can always download the PDF files from our website and view them in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and use its Read Out Loud Text-to-Speech tool.

To use Read Out Loud, you need Acrobat Reader DC and a Text-to-Speech engine installed on your system. Acrobat Reader must have a voice selected that you have installed. The document must be accessible, otherwise, it is not read at all or it is read in the wrong order.

To verify your settings in Acrobat Reader:

  • Go to the Preferences dialog box of Acrobat Reader by selecting Edit Preferences.

  • In the left pane, select Reading.

  • In the right pane, deselect the Use Default Voice and select a voice from the drop-down list that you have verified installed on your computer.

  • Click OK.

Note: Read Out Loud isn’t a screen reader, and some operating systems don’t support it.
